A large part of the population currently practices some type of sport. We classify sports in relation to the risk of producing oral trauma, in high-risk sports (martial arts, boxing, American football, hockey, skating, rugby) and intermediate-risk sports (basketball, handball, squash, water polo, mountain biking). After receiving an impact, the consequences can range from a wound on the lip to a bone fracture, through joint alterations, broken teeth, etc.

During sports, oral traumatic injuries are more frequent, accounting for 45% of all orofacial trauma.

To avoid possible injuries, we offer customized protectors perfectly adapted to the patients gums and teeth, considering the maxillary relation with the jaw.
