Today we’re sharing some news that we’re especially excited about: we have now officially opened and are seeing patients in our new clinic in Almería, at Calle Doctor Gregorio Marañón 37. It’s a space very close to our previous location, but designed as an important step in our story: a premises we own, created to work more comfortably, take even better care of every detail, and continue growing with the stability that a long-term project needs. It is a personal and welcoming project led by Dr. Alberto Fernández Ayora, but one that would have been impossible without the journey of all the years behind us, without the help of our team—especially Dr. Alberto Fernández Sánchez—and without all the patients who have trusted us for so long.
This new chapter can’t be understood without everything we’ve experienced before. That’s why we want to leave our story and present here, just as we’ve always told it:
Our history and present
Thirty-five years ago, in 1990, Dr. Alberto Fernández—Medical Doctor (University of Granada) and Dentist (Université Libre de Bruxelles)—opened his dental clinic in Almería, in Plaza de los Burros. Shortly afterwards, he moved the facilities to the central Plaza San Pedro, where he developed his professional practice focused on surgery, oral rehabilitation, and general dentistry for 25 years, together with our long-standing assistant, Mari Pepa Rodríguez, and later also with Rosario Paris as hygienist.
Little by little, specialist collaborators joined, such as Dr. Juan Alberto Sáez as orthodontist and Dr. Elena Moya as endodontist, as well as Dr. Alberto Fernández Ayora, a specialist in periodontology and implants from the University of Liège, Belgium.
Thanks to the work of all those years, our team grew—and so did our clinic. In 2015 we made the decision to move to a street-level location and relocated to a large premises on Calle Dr. Gregorio Marañón. New professionals joined, such as Dr. Manuel Caño, responsible for restorative dentistry and prosthodontics, and Dr. Javier Batlles, our new specialist in invisible orthodontics, as well as our hygienist Ana Tomás, in charge of basic periodontal treatments.
Over all these years, our way of working has evolved and improved through continuous training and innovation in scientific and clinical knowledge and technology, while always maintaining the foundation of listening, explaining, and supporting our patients in the best possible way throughout their treatment.
A new space to keep doing what we do best
The new clinic was born as a very personal project and, at the same time, a deeply collective one: personal because it reflects a clear idea of how we want to treat, work, and care; and collective because it is the result of many years as a team, shared learning, and mutual trust with our patients.
We designed this space with one priority: that the clinic supports our way of working. A dentistry that combines clinical rigor, planning, and specialization, but never loses the human side: time to listen, clear explanations, and support throughout every phase of treatment.
An established team and a more complete range of services
We continue with a team that remains intact and coordinated, allowing us to approach treatments with a comprehensive vision, with special attention to surgery, oral rehabilitation, general dentistry, periodontology and implants, endodontics, and orthodontics.
This new stage also includes the addition of Dr. Ángela Fernández Ayora, a physician specialized in Aesthetic Medicine, to complete and enhance our range of services—always with a prudent, personalized approach aimed at natural-looking results.
Thank you for being there
Opening a new clinic is not just about opening a new door: it is reaffirming a commitment. The commitment to keep working with the same dedication, to keep improving every year, and to keep caring for the trust that our patients have placed in us for so long.
If you already know us, thank you for continuing to be part of this story. If you haven’t visited yet, we’ll be delighted to welcome you to our new clinic at Calle Doctor Gregorio Marañón 37, Almería.
